Facilities Management Tasks & Contract

CORE was selected by the Brooklyn Navy Yard Development Corporation to provide environmental services under a range of Facilities Management tasks throughout the 300-acre Brooklyn Navy Yard site. The contract is defined on an as-needed basis, with tasks including:

• Acquisition of maintenance and environmental permits for air, water, sewer, underground and aboveground storage tanks
• Provision of assistance to BNYDC with operations of existing or proposed tenants
• Provision of assistance in maintaining existing permits and filing for air, water, sewer, hazardous materials and wastes
• Bulk Petroleum Storage Management
• Underground Storage Tank Management including registration, inventory record keeping, annual & 5-year physical inspections, and closures as needed.
• Aboveground Storage Tank Management including monthly inspections and regulatory reporting requirements
• Review of Tenant Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasure Plans
• Environmental Impact Statements and Environmental Site Assessments
• Hazardous Material Management
• Recycling Programs
