CORE provides Lead-Based Paint (LBP) Inspection services for federal, state, and private clients at public buildings, bridges, municipal incinerator facilities, and commercial buildings. Our staff includes a professional team of USEPA-certified Lead Inspector and Risk Assessor specialists. CORE conducts XRF Lead-Based Paint Inspections using a multitude of Viken Detection Pb200i XRF Analyzers to test and report on concentrations of lead-based paint. CORE maintains a New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH) Radioactive Materials license and an USEPA company certification under the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) to conduct lead-based paint activities pursuant to 40 CFR Part 745.226.

What is a Lead-Based Paint Inspection?

A surface-by-surface investigation to determine the presence of lead-based paint as provided in section 302(c) of the Lead-Based Paint Poisoning Prevention Act and the provision of a report explaining the results of the investigation.
