ASBESTOS-CONTAINING MATERIALS (ACM) SURVEYS

CORE Environmental Consultants, Inc. was selected by the Chautauqua County Land Bank Corporation (CCLBC) to perform asbestos inspections at five properties in Chautauqua County, New York, scheduled for demolition. The project involved conducting comprehensive surveys to identify asbestos-containing materials (ACM) within each property to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

CORE's certified asbestos inspectors conducted detailed visual assessments of the properties and collected samples of suspect materials for laboratory analysis. The inspections focused on identifying ACM in structural components such as walls, ceilings, flooring, and insulation, among other areas commonly associated with asbestos.

Following the inspections, CORE provided detailed reports for each property, including laboratory results and recommendations for the safe handling, removal, and disposal of any identified ACM. This work ensured the demolition process could proceed in an environmentally responsible manner while protecting the health and safety of workers and the surrounding community.
