Asbestos and Lead

Spotlight of new regulations: Vermiculite

Recently, the NYS Department of Health (NYSDOH) has been evolving Guidelines regarding the sampling and analysis of vermiculite-containing building materials. With each new Guideline the way these materials are sampled, analyzed and reported has changed. CORE has actively been keeping abreast of these new Guidelines as they evolve and we remain at the forefront of the industry. We are able to provide our clients with the most appropriate and cost-effective solution for all Vermiculate sampling and analysis. Vermiculite-Containing Spray-On Fireproofing: NYSDOH issued a unique Guideline for the sampling and analysis of Vermiculite-Containing Spray-On Fireproofing (VCSOF) effective in October 2014. With it, two new analytical procedures for VCSOF became available.
